Simonson Technique, developed by Lynn Simonson, is a comprehensive and anatomically-based technique that prepares the body to dance with awareness and safety. This workshop will delve into the articulation of the body and clarity of movement while emphasizing musicality, rhythm and phrasing. Through an energetic and supportive environment each student will build artistry while improving technique. The workshop choreography will be rooted in various dance vocabularies including Jazz, World Dance and Contemporary. Through this workshop experience participants will find a deeper awareness of the body, individual expression, and dynamic dance integrity.
