Luigi is sometimes referred to as "father jazz" since he is credited with creating the first formal jazz technique. Luigi's pioneering method is based on anatomically sound principles, using center and floor work exclusively. He believes that students should learn how to support and control themselves totally from within and find the feeling of using space as a barre.This concept places the body in optimum position for transitions and movement across the floor. And one must always keep moving.
