Southern Vermont Dance Festival

In this class, dancers will work collaboratively on duet and small group studies. Through developing our capacity for and interest in physical listening, we lay the foundation for increased risk taking and creative discovery. We will begin with guided improvisations that illuminate key working principles for functionality and safety. We will then devote focused time to creating material, elaborating and troubleshooting our discoveries to challenge and surprise ourselves.
