Billy & Bobby McClain

With the technical facility of hip hop, the sophistication of the glory days of the Cotton Club, the flash of Rat Pack era Las Vegas, and elements of vaudeville, animation, robot, tap and mime. The Wondertwins, Billy & Bobby McClain, have created a distinctive style while remaining artistically true to the origins of Hip Hop.

Billy & Bobby began their careers at the age of 10 years old when they were asked to join Boston's first professional street dance company THE FUNK AFFECTS. At that time, they were already supporting Hip Hop Legends like Run Dmc, LL cool Jay, Public Enemy, Mc Lyte and Queen Latifah to name a few. 8 years later they decided it was time to branch off and rebrand themselves as "The WonderTwins" Which proved to be a successful undertaking given the long lists of accomplishments they have unraveled since their decision.

Some of their credits include Bobby Brown's "Don't Be Cruel" World Tour, New Kids in the Block "Magic Summer Tour" Choreographers, Apollonia Kotero "I fell for you" World Tour, Jacob’s Pillow Dance Festival, Brooklyn Dance Festival, The Yard, Detroit Jazz Festival, the Celebration Barn, brooklyndancefestival, Rochester University, Music Hall Loft, Joes Pub, Dance Expo's Ambassadors of Dance award, Origination's Pioneers of Dance Award, Colby College of Arts, American Repertory Theater, Apollo Theater's Club Harlem w/ Maurice Hines jr, Breakin Convention and TEDX talks. The WonderTwins have also won the "Apollo Amateur night & Showtime at the Apollo" 6 times and have graced the Apollo stage a record 16 times.
