Katherine Adler
Katherine Adler grew up in Massachusetts and began dancing at the New England Dance Conservatory at a young age. After high school she moved to Salt Lake City, UT and earned her B.F.A. in Modern Dance at the University of Utah, graduating in 2013. While a student she had the opportunity to dance for local and international choreographers including performing in historical works by Martha Graham and Twyla Tharp. Upon graduation she continued to create and perform in Salt Lake City, choreographing work for the Craft Lake City DIY Festival, Sugar Space Gallery and Theater, the Rose Wagner Black Box Theater, and producing a full evening length show of her own in 2014. During her time in Utah she was an intern for loveDANCEmore under the direction of Ashley Anderson and performed in choreography by Brad Beakes, Amy Falls, Sam Hansen, and Kitty Sailer and dance collective Porridge for Goldilocks. Completing her time out West, Katherine now resides in Northampton, MA where she continues to create her own work.
